ME, MYSELF & I

Me, Myself & I is a dedicated support centre specifically for those with advanced dementia, providing mental and physical stimulation for them, and respite for you. 

The groups are small so that we can engage almost one-to-one with our clients to meet their needs. Our friendly, dementia trained carers create a setting of calm with motivating activities, proven to activate body and mind.

Photo albums, scrap books and music from a time gone by evoke a trip down memory lane.

Lets get creative!

Baking, painting, arts & crafts, modelling clay and building bricks all help to express and explore imagination.

Improving hand, eye coordination.

Jigsaws, quizzes, musical bingo and games to exercise coordination, focus and movement.

It makes perfect sense.

Our sensory room is a haven of sight, sound, touch and movement, which gently enhance the feelings of comfort and well-being.

Me, Myself & I is open five days a week Monday to Friday at Knightswood Day Care Centre from 10am - 3.30pm. As always with Knightswood, we provide the transport to collect and return home safely, giving you a little more time, with the peace of mind that your loved one is well looked after. 

Each session costs £75.60 which includes care, transport, refreshments throughout the day and you are welcome to bring in a packed lunch or   a two course hot lunch can be provided , if required.

As with everything we do, Knightswood works in-line with all safety procedures, following the Government guidelines to operate in a Covid-19 secure way, creating a safe space for our clients to enjoy.
